In partnership with Amorim Cork Ventures, Grõwancork has developed a chassis for commercial refrigeration equipment in expanded cork covered by metal sheets. It is a 100% eco-friendly and recyclable product In terms of energy, it has low consumption. Yet again, Grõwancork has anticipated the future with its expanded cork chassis! Based on European Union regulations (EU No. 517/2014), which has the objective of protecting the environment by reducing fluorinated greenhouse gas emissions, from 1 January 2023, all foams containing HFC with a GWP equal to or greater than 150 will be prohibited. The EIC (Easy Insulation Cork) solution yet again proves that we are on the right path, and that environmental concerns are a part of our daily routine.
Grõwancork also has the capacity to develop customised projects based on client specifications, always building on insulation using expanded cork agglomerate, making use of the technical and natural characteristics of the main raw material.
